International networks and initiatives for the mountains

We take part in, and seek participation in, international networks that promote the protection, recognition and sustainable development of mountain regions.

Mountain Partnership

Mountain Partnership, the global FAO alliance for the sustainable development of mountain areas. This membership strengthens our work institutionally and places our organization in an international cooperation framework with bodies, organizations and governments working for the protection and sustainable development of mountain ecosystems. We continue with consistency, strategy and an international outlook.

Global Youth Biodiversity Network (GYBN)

The Global Youth Biodiversity Network (GYBN), founded in 2010, is a dynamic global alliance and a movement of young people and youth organizations that have joined forces to lead, support and accelerate collective action for a just and equitable world living in harmony with nature. As a youth-led movement, GYBN works to safeguard biodiversity and address the socio-ecological crisis facing our generation and future ones.
