An annual gathering dedicated to the mountains, participation and environmental awareness.

Mainalo Mountain Day is an annual action dedicated to the Greek mountains and to International Mountain Day. Through hiking, environmental information, volunteering, educational activities and collaboration with associations and institutions, the action aims to bring citizens closer to the natural environment. The goals of the action are:

  • environmental awareness
  • promotion of mountain regions
  • participation of citizens and associations
  • strengthening of the local community
  • promotion of responsible hiking
  • creation of partnerships
